More proto-less typing

I am continuing with the tradition of late to keep working on projects that interest me and inspire me. I am back to my original goal of my platform game. I have figured out a storyline to appease all of the different mechanics and types of characters I would like to see in one game. My style seems to be: What do I want to design for the next 6 months to a year? Ok, let's model and render something out; Awesome, love it; Now to try and write a functional storyline around this character and these villains in this kind of place. I wonder if other solo developers struggle to find that balance between something they can actually accomplish vs what they really want to be developing. At the end of the day, if I love it, I have to trust there is at least one more person out there who will as well. So in essence this game is really for me and my doppelganger...stay tuned, something is cooking and I am pretty happy with what I have so far.
